Hi I'm Wu, the Direcor of Wildness. This blog is a record of the making this movie + my life since October 2009.

i started blogging because i wanted to find a way to talk about my experiences doing a weekly club called Wildness, which led to the making of this movie, and a trans legal project called LETSGO LIBERATION. i wanted to talk about how i saw race & class stuff playing out in my immediate world, which happened to be at an intersection of nightlife, entertainment, and art worlds in Los Angeles...

Lately I wanna share my experiences about what it means to make a "MOVIE" (independent film) that goes into broad circulation - all the politics and economics behind that. This is basically a record of what happens now that the movie is done - and the effects that it has on me, the subjects of my movie, the transgender community of Los Angeles, and so on... hopefully taking into account everyone who might be affected and interested in this process.
